Many occasions get national recognition with their own special day - Mothers Day, Father's Day, Grandparent's Day...Chocolate Day. That's right, Chocolate Day is on Tuesday, July 7th (not to be confused with National Chocolate Day in December or World Chocolate Day in September)! I can't think of anything more deserving of its own distinct recognition. And I'm not just saying that because I'm a chocoholic. OK, actually I am. Ha! In honor of Chocolate Day, the perfect sweet-treat giveaway...
Rich. Decadent. Moist. Chocolate. And it was 75% gone in less than 24 hours. That's the delicious chocolate cake that my family recently received from Bake Me A Wish.
When Bake Me A Wish contacted me to inquire about doing a review and giveaway of their cake, I couldn't give them my shipping information fast enough. Did I go a little overboard when it arrived and I opened the packing tape with my bare teeth? No, I didn't think so. We received their "Triple Chocolate Enrobed Brownie Cake." That's a heck of a name for a heck of a cake. "Our moist & fudgy brownie cake goes through three chocolate "passes" before it's "done": first it's enrobed in rich chocolate, then it gets completely blanketed with a shower of dark chocolate shaves; last, the cake is finished with milk and dark chocolate glazes drizzled all over and the Belgian chocolate plaque of your choice; for a brownie dessert that's over-the-top-triple-delicious!" Now you know why I ate a slice for breakfast. The cake did not arrive frozen, but was ice packed. We all agreed that it was best at room temperature, and even better the next day. So, if at all possible to resist, wait a few hours before devouring. The cake was topped with a cute chocolate plaque that said, "Thank You." But, I was really the one giving thanks. It was packaged in an elegant box, sure to make an impression if you're giving the cake as a gift.
They offer a tantalizing selection of Gourmet Gift Cakes which include their "classics," "decadent delight cakes," single-serving cakes, and coffee cakes.
"Bake Me a Wish is the premium nationwide service for delivery of gourmet birthday cakes. Our cakes are made with only the finest, freshest ingredients by an award-winning family run New York bakery that also supplies pastries to some of Manhattan's most elite restaurants. Their delivery on schedule is guaranteed.
To make you feel even better about giving such a sweet gift, Bake Me A Wish participates in Operation Birthday Cake: 5% of any cake order goes to Bake Me A Wish!’s Operation: Birthday Cake, which, together with their partner Soldiers’ Angelsdonates birthday cakes each month to soldiers overseas who are having a birthday. As you can imagine it is a great morale booster to a soldier to be remembered on their birthday. Click here to see more on this sweet cause (I suggest grabbing some tissues.)
The sweet news is spreading. Bake Me A Wish has been featured in the following publications and network television shows: Good Morning America, Ellen, The View, CBS News, ABC News, Rachael Ray, Today, People Weekly, and many more.

I would send it to my housebound dad, as I am certain it would brighten his day. We do our best to take him on outings, and the days he doesn't get out, food becomes even more improtant to the happiness of his day.

I would send this to my mom and dad. Mom has severe dementia/alzheimers; but she still adores sweets!
This would keep her pretty darn happy and I'm sure myself and my family would be able to share this with her!!
