GIVEAWAY! Onesie or Tee from Trendy Tadpole! CLOSED

 

There are onesies. And there are cute onesies. The latter have hip designs, great colors, and make a statement (even when covered in drool). Wow, what do you know, I just described the onesie I received from the Trendy Tadpole!  And "trendy," is the perfectly appropriate name for this kids clothing site.

 

I received the Giraffe onesie (pictured above) for my Munchkin. I immediately noticed the high-quality fabric immediately, and it's no wonder, since Trendy Tadpole uses American Apparel (i.e. sweatshop free and super soft). As much as I love unique kids' clothing, I'm always reluctant to purchase shirts with an applique - afraid that it's going to start cracking and peeling, and then I've got a $20 dust rag instead of a shirt my child can wear. I haven't had Munchkin's onesie for long, but I feel confident about this applique sticking around a while. The onesie washed well and still looks good (I don't put my kids' clothes in the dryer). Paired with some funky baby leggings, and Munchkin was the hippest kid at mommy and me group.

 

Introducing the force behind Trendy Tadpole, Julie, another chick making things happen that benefit the rest of us! "What is Trendy Tadpole?  Fun tee shirts on super quality fabric that is made in the good ol' U.S. of A.  It all started in 2004 when I decided it was time to work for myself.  My therapist says I am running a sweatshop but I am the only one in it! Yikes.  My inspiration came from the students I was teaching and the kids I was babysitting and I love challenges.   Trendy Tadpole and it's owner, me (Julie Pruitt), are a work in progress.   I am bringing pop culture, a hint of nostalgia, and a pinch of fun to the table in every tee shirt. I am constantly changing designs, styles, and ideas to meet the needs of, well, um, you!  I love feedback, so if you have brilliant ideas that will make this mom and pop, minus the pop, shop even greater, lemme hear 'em.   It only took  wine, lots of sweat, and plenty of tears, but it was all worth it.  I hope you enjoy the tee shirts as much as I like a glass of wine making them."  Looks like Julie is both talented and funny. My kind of gal!
