You will likely spend the night before Easter filling a rainbow-colored basket with green plastic straw and yellow marshmallow peeps for your kid. Ahh,those were the days - waking up to a bounty of chocolate and treats, and enjoying them all week long. Well, I'm here to tell you -mom, dads, and fellow chocoholics, that those days don't have to be over! What would you say to your very own grown-up Easter basket, overflowing with award-winning gourmet treats? I thought so. I may no longer believe in the Easter Bunny (we all know that only Santa Claus is real), but I do believe in chocolate treats and decadent sweets at any age, for any occasion. Fortunately for you and me, there's Gourmet Gift Baskets.com.
I'm generally good at keeping secrets and planning surprises. But, it was really tough to keep this one underwraps for the past week. I have been bursting at the seams to fill you in on the Product Review and Giveaway from Gourmet Gift Baskets.com. And now I can finally LET IT OUT!
French/Paris Gift Baskets are just a few of those available in their amazing line-up. They sell gift baskets for all the major holidays, including Easter and Mother's Day. They have special Occasions and Sentiment baskets, for Baby and Birthday (did I mention that my birthday is on the 23rd? Woo-hoo!). And even Specialty Theme baskets that match a person's hobbies, such as Golf and Gardening. Every gift basket sounded just as good as the next. Are you understanding my agonizing dilemma, ladies?! Yes, I'm sure you're really sympathetic.
Ok, I won't keep you in suspense any longer. Finally, with great care (because I take my job as a Reviewer very seriously), I selected the Sweets Gift Basket. And then I waited, which as you can imagine, is the hardest thing for a chocoholic to do.
My Sweets Basket arrived even earlier than expected. Thank you chocolate Gods, and thank you Gourmet Gift Baskets.com. It was beautifully packaged, with all of the award-winning gourmet treats set in a high-quality reusable woven basket, and tied with colorful ribbons. I didn't want to cut the wrapping. Ok, you know me better than that. This gift basket could've been wrapped in gold, and I still would've ripped it open like someone on Survivor Island. Once I did break the seal, it truly did not disappoint.
All of the Sweets were of superior quality and delicious. The Chocolate Orange Raspberry Filled Cookies were moist and scrumptious. The Signature Milk Chocolate Bar melted in my mouth. The English Toffee was divine. The Key Lime White Chocolate Cookies were the perfect combination of flavors. The Chocolate Chip Cookies were a great little treat. Word of caution about the Golden Caramel Nuggets: the taste is so light, yet wonderfully sweet, that you're likely to eat most of the bag before you realize it. We gave Grandma the Buttered Peanut Crunch - it was the least we could do when she babysat our kids that evening. Grandma reported that it was "really good," and we were surprised not to find her in a buttered crunch-induced coma when we returned home. Now that the goodies have been devoured, we have our woven basket to re-use and remind us of the greedy good times (I'm hoping it will remind my husband to order another one for my birthday. Did I mention it's on the 23rd?).
Just remember these profound words from yours truly: Marshmallow peeps are gross. Gourmet Gift Baskets.com is cool. And every adult still deserves an Easter basket.
A fantastic gift for your spouse, your child's teacher, pastor, nanny, babysitter, Grandma, hard-to-please mother-in-law...the negotiator who did your home loan modification.

It's almost done and wouldn't a chocolate gift basket be the perfect "congratulations" from his parents? I think I'd like to give my win to him."

Sent an email to a handful of other bloggers I know from lilmsscareall100@aol.com
as for which basket I would choose if i had to.. I would DEFINITELY choose the "FLAME ENTHUSIAST"
I would give it to my Father In law (I dont eat meat, so it wouldnt do too good for me anyways). But the reason i would give it to my Father In Law is simple because we aren't on the best terms. We just clash, and the last dinner we had together was kind of a nightmare. It was actually the FIRST time in 2 years than i had been to dinner with them. I told my hubby i will only eat dinner if his dad promises not to talk about money during the dinner. Apparently he couldnt do that. So yea. I would lke to give him something like that, HE LOVES TO GRILL. Its the only time he seems human to me. So it would be a nice peace offering.
I am a BIG TIME family person> my family and I are VERY tight knit, unlike my husbands. So its so hard to be this way with him. I would LOVE to be better with him!
Anyways, was that TMI??
If i won the Gift Basket Giveaway, i would choose the EASTER MORNING gift basket, and i would KINDA keep it for myself, and kinda give it to my husband. I feel like it has been SOO long since we had a good little famliy breakfast, so that little gift basket would literally be a PERFECT easter breakfast before i drag my hubby to my mom's house where we will see my 30 cousins, aunts, uncles, and all the little ones. I would LOVE LOVE the breakfast one.
Thanks for the OFFER!!
